Msheireb Galleria School Checklist 2026: Dates, Tickets & What to Expect

Coming into a new school year, Msheireb Galleria is reuniting all families for the 4th season of its popular back-to-school School Checklist 2026. It is a 10 day event that incorporates preparation for education, career exploration, entertainment and community giving.

The activation will happen at Msheireb Downtown Doha, and will allow children to learn by doing, solving interactive challenges, and not just ready for the classroom. During their stay families can also be interested in the various ways available to them for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Msheireb Galleria School Checklist 2026: Dates and Timings

The event will be happening Aug. 20-29, 2026, with the hope that families will get 10 days of all of its activities before their new school year. This programme is to be run once a day from 4pm to 10pm.

The event is taking place in Msheireb Galleria – 1st floor in Msheireb Downtown Doha. It’s free to enter, extends educational summer fun and is open to the public for activities, so it’s a great way for families to get summer education and entertainment.

What Can Children Expect?

The 2026 edition is a Board Game Quest-based approach to helping school for preparedness become a hands-on experience. Kids first register and earn a “career” passport and hat, each of which will be an option in a variety of careers, including doctors, engineers, firefighters and postal workers.

Then the children jump around the various activity stations and do the activities, picking up their stamps in their stamping passport. After successfully finishing the activities, they will unlock a gift locker, and be able to donate school supplies to the charity.

Family and Educational Activities

Various interactive stations developed with the help of organisations such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Msheireb Museums, Logiscool, Karwa Academy and Jamm Studios are a part of the event.

Families will also have the opportunity to visit story-reading sessions, interactive displays and shows, science demonstrations, and musical workshops. Educational and entertainer activities will keep children engaged in the “back to school” process.

School Supply Charity Drive

Giving Back also features as a big component to School Checklist 2026. Children are invited to donate new stationery and school supplies to schools and children in need via the church’s collection lockers, in collaboration with Qatar Charity.

The project ensures children link the fun and excitement of preparing for school with the need to support children who may not feel able to get some of the necessary school materials.

What Parents Should Know?

The walk around the event can be integrated into the shopping, dining and entertainment offered throughout Msheireb Galleria as the parents will be visiting for the back-to-school season. Families might find it easier to visit multiple stations now before they pack up, being here in the evening earlier than they otherwise would be.
