Dubai Honours Top Educators With Golden Visas on World Teachers’ Day

Dubai has unveiled a million-dollar initiative to treat its most distinguished teachers to UAE Golden Visas to celebrate them on World Teachers’ Day for 10 years.

Under the leadership of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative aims to honor teachers and academic leaders who have excelled in improving student performance, innovation in teaching and the overall education ecosystem.

Teachers were chosen for their expertise, creativity in their lessons and community leadership along with their service in Dubai’s public and private school systems.

The transfer will offer more job security for the “superstars” of the teaching profession and strengthen Dubai’s push to recruit and retain its education system’s highest value-adds.

The honor also reinforces the UAE’s increasing focus on teachers as vital partners in human capital development and the progression of the UAE to become a competitive knowledge based economy.

World Teachers’ Day was celebrated across the UAE to honor students and educational institutions for celebrating teachers and their role in building future generations.

Dubai’s Golden Visa program adds to the Emirate’s stance that excellent educators are integral to creating a world-class education system and remaining a key pillar of the UAE’s long-term ambitions.
