UAE Launches ‘100 Dreams’ Initiative to Help Entrepreneurs Turn Ideas into Businesses

The UAE has rolled out the 100 Dreams Initiative, a new $1 million global initiative to support aspiring entrepreneurs in developing and sustaining a viable business. The initiative will choose 100 participants and each will receive $10,000 and operational support will be implemented to assist them in business development and commercialisation.

Programme Targets the Creator Economy

The project strongly prioritizes creators who wish to build their digital media business, production business, platforms and creator business. Learners will dive into a six-week kickstarter programme, working with creator advocate Simon Squibb and industry teams, and be learning about creating a business model, an IP or strategy for getting their ideas into the market.

Dubai Summit Will Host the Programme

The programme is part of the fifth 1 Billion Followers Summit to be held in Dubai from January 8 to 10, 2027 and focused on Content for Good. The applicants are eligible from around the world but those who have been successful should be capable of setting up their businesses in the UAE and attending the programme in Dubai.

Applications Open Globally in November

The registration process will open on November 20 with Joindream. The 100 Dreams Initiative will not only provide financial support, but will aim to shape commercially viable ideas, foster jobs, and establish novel intellectual property, capable of expanding globally from the UAE. It also helps advance the country’s efforts to make creators entrepreneurs and additions to the digital economy.
