Humanitarian Bridge Targets 10 Million Meals

The humanitarian mission will seek to provide over 10 million meals to people in Gaza. A coordinated relief chain is in place between Al Maktoum International Airport and logistics centre in Al Arish, Egypt in the UAE. The food supplies were prepared and loaded by teams for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 which moved towards Rafah.

UAE Community Supports Relief Efforts

The meals were cooked in a massive community event which took place at Dubai World Trade Centre with the public packing food items for Gaza. The activity is an embodiment of wide community participation in humanitarian efforts and to honor the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Relief Operations Continue Through Rafah

The latest shipment adds to the humanitarian assistance being channelled into Gaza through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The UAE is still continuing to do the job of coordinating humanitarian relief supplies including food along the regional logistic pathways for affected civilians, due to the ongoing crisis. When conditions allow, the Rafah Crossing is a crucial access point for humanitarian deliveries.
