Preity Zinta breaks digital detox: Indian actress in Jeddah for IPL mega auction
Prominent Indian actress and Punjab Kings co-oner Preity Zinta has arrived in the beautiful Saudi city of Jeddah for the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction on Sunday and Monday. She announced her arrival in a post on Instagram.
Uploading a video of the scenic location in Jeddah, Preity expressed her excitement about the auction and also invited recommendations for their potential auction strategy. She also noted that she had finally ended her digital detox.
Understanding Indian Premier league mega auctions
Before the highly anticipated IPL auction, Punjab Kings announced batters Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh as their player retentions for the coming edition. Both the players have played notable roles in the team in the past editions.
574 players have been shortlisted, including 208 overseas players, 12 uncapped overseas talents and 318 uncapped Indian players. Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul are among the standout names this season.
