Abu Dhabi Agreement To Enhance Collab Of Research And Academia

The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation have signed an agreement to enhance collaboration in the fields of research and academia.
The memorandum of understanding aims to foster the exchange of knowledge and find solutions to contemporary challenges in Arab research and academia.
The agreement enables strategic joint projects and the organization of events that contribute to the intellectual, scientific, and cultural development of the region.
As part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the ALC is committed to strengthening cooperation and addressing the challenges faced by the Arabic language.
The partnership with the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation will support Arab knowledge and intellectual production by promoting the Arabic language’s role in cultural, intellectual, and creative domains.
By developing new programs and initiatives, the ALC aims to motivate Arab creators and thinkers across various fields.
The Al Owais Cultural Foundation shares a similar mission of advancing culture, deepening thought, and fostering originality.
By aligning their interests and visions, the foundation seeks to collaborate with cultural institutions that can contribute to cultural values and knowledge matters.
The partnership with the ALC will facilitate joint activities and events that reflect positively on cultural outputs.
Under the agreement, the ALC and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation will coordinate efforts and host various events focusing on Arab culture and related topics. They will also exchange their respective databases of Arab and international cultural figures.
Additionally, the two entities will develop a joint action plan that includes workshops, seminars, advisory services, research studies, and reports on common interests. To ensure effective implementation of these programs, a joint committee will be established.
