Etihad Flight Updates

Etihad Airways today announced it will extend the duration of its flight suspension in Saudi Arabia, indefinitely reopening Jeddah and also extending the cancellation of Riyadh and Dammam as well. The changes have been made in the wake of regional security concerns and ongoing airspace assessments. A reminder is being made to passengers to check their ticket before leaving for the airport.

Etihad Flight Updates Confirm Jeddah Services from November 6

The resumption of flights between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah will take place on November 6, after a series of night plane cancellations last week. The restart is important for businessmen and pilgrims going to the city of Mecca as it gives them an entry point to western Saudi Arabia.

Etihad Flight Updates Extend Riyadh and Dammam Cancellations

All services will be suspended between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh and Dammam up until November 19. The timetable adjustments are the result of ongoing operational and airspace assessments in the region. The following are the various routes. If passengers are travelling on such routes then they should follow up their travel arrangements and call the airline or their travel agent for help.

Etihad Flight Updates Include Flexible Rebooking Options

Passengers who book on or after March 6, 2026, and travel through March 31, 2027 will be able to make 1 free change to their booking. The passengers of the cancelled flights are also eligible for a full refund via Etihad’s website and their travel agency.

Etihad Flight Updates Require Passengers to Check Before Travel

Flight times may still be further modified based on ongoing operational and regulatory changes, so please check the information you will receive for the status of each individual flight before traveling to Zayed International Airport. Information will be the information that you’ll find on the airline website and in their mobile application.

Before making travel plans, travellers can inspect the Department of Environment and Heritage’s travel sheets to ensure they do not end up making a pointless journey to the airport and need to make alternative plans if necessary.
