The eagerly awaited 22nd Liwa Date Festival has returned to the heart of Al Dhafra in Abu Dhabi’s western oasis, drawing together farmers, families, artisans and tourists to Abu Dhabi’s most revered cultural celebration. It’s not just a date celebration; it’s also an event that features the country’s fine crafts, traditional methods and the deep-rooted connection with the Date Palm tree.
Running from July 13 to July 27, 2026, the festival will allow people to immerse themselves in authentic Emirati customs and visit one of the most beautiful desert destinations in the UAE.
