Who are the four emirates that announced the 4 day holiday for public sectors?
Eid Al-Adha, a festival commemorates the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim whose unparalleled faith, devotion and willingness has been celebrated during this auspicious day. As per the ritual practice, people will observe this festival after the annual Hajj pilgrimage which is made more special by practising special prayers, ritual sacrifice of livestock and distributing the charity to the underprivileged people.
In 2025, Eid Al-Adha is observed during the month of June and people are planning for vacation & other commitments after getting a confirmation from the government regarding the holidays. And, the official statements regarding the public holidays have been declared by four different emirates.

- Ras Al Khaimah [Department of Human Resources] – Four day public holiday for the employees. From 5 to 8 June 2025.
- Ajman [Department of Human Resources] – Four day public holiday for the employees. From 5 to 8 June 2025.
- Sharjah [Department of Human Resources] – The holiday will commence on 5 June 2025 and the working hours of diverse offices will begin on 9 June 2025.
- Dubai – The public holidays of the government workers will be observed the same as the other emirates [5 to 8 June 2025].
