UAE Announces 4-Day Eid Al Adha Holiday for Private Sector
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) in the UAE has announced a four-day, paid holiday for private sector employees across the country to mark Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.
The holiday runs from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, with employees returning to their work on Monday, June 9. The public sector will observe a similar Eid break as announced previously.
According to the UAE labor law, employees who work during public holidays must either have another day off or be paid additional pay. Employees must be paid their regular salary plus at least 50% additional pay for that day.
