Emirates has a new milestone of 100,000 bags in one day at Dubai Airport
Emirates Airlines achieved a notable milestone in the processing of baggage in March 2025, when they reached an all-time high of 100,000 bags in a single day at Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the world’s largest and busiest airports.
This momentous operational accomplishment illustrates the scale of Emirates’ high-tech baggage processing operations and industry-leading efficiency across the Terminal’s three 3 levels. As the peak summer travel season is upon us, Emirates’ ability to process this volume of bags demonstrates stellar levels of customer service, passenger convenience, and an overall travel experience.
Emirates, in a release this week, reported more than 2.7 million bags were handled in March of 2025 alone.
New Record: 100,000 bags processed, pamper hours
Advanced Systems: 140 km of baggage belts with integration with screening and a great sorting range
High-Speed Motion: All bags move through the system at 7.1m/s
Customer Focused: Facilitates great passenger experiences during peak travel times
Emirates is preparing for its busiest summer since the pandemic and assured that Integrators will be even greater value for the millions of global passengers who will travel this summer. This record is yet more confirmation of Dubai’s ability to create the world’s best airport experiences and provide new levels of innovation in aviation logistics.
