Dubai is reintroducing a 30% sales tax on hops, grape and other house drinks. The changes are going to come into effect from January 1, 2025. In late 2022, the city decided to suspend the sales tax as a one-year measure. The decision got extended in 2024.

Parking fees in Dubai are going to significantly change starting in March 2025. Parkin, the city’s official parking operator, is going to introduce tariffs and hikes. During peak hours, parking fees in high-demand areas could rise to Dh6 per hour.
