Sharjah Ruler Releases 82nd Historical Publication About Nabhani Kings

The Sharjah Ruler, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, has released a new historical book titled “History of the Nabhani Kings 1154-1622.”
This book is part of a series of publications by the Sharjah Ruler, who is known for his extensive knowledge in various fields. Recently, His Highness was seen performing prayer at Sharjah Mosque for Eid Al Adha.
The Sharjah Ruler has published 82 books so far, covering subjects such as history, biography, investigation, literature, and theater. His works have been translated into 20 languages.
In “History of the Nabhani Kings,” the Sharjah Ruler explores the history of the Sultanate of Oman and the surrounding region over a period of five centuries. The book provides a detailed account of important events and fascinating stories from 1154 to 1622.
This book is part of a larger project called the “Sultan of History” encyclopedia, initiated by the Sharjah Ruler. It aims to be a comprehensive and trustworthy historical record.
The Sharjah Ruler draws upon his expertise in history, geography, archaeology, and his collection of valuable manuscripts, maps, and documents to provide accurate information.

The book includes two appendices that add value to the historical account. The first appendix, titled “Genealogy and Lineage of the Nabhani Kings and Sultans,” provides a thorough and well-researched overview of the rulers from the Nabhani dynasty.

The second appendix, “Golden Currency,” reveals an exciting discovery made during excavations in Khorfakkan—a gold coin dating back to the reign of Sultan Saif Al-Din Nasrat, who ruled from 1272 to 1290.
The “History of the Nabhani Kings” narrates a fascinating journey through the history of the Arabian Gulf for the readers. It is expected that the Sharjah Ruler has done extensive research. This book may be a valuable contribution to historical scholarship.
