Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that exceptional transportation will be conducted during the Eid Al Adha 2026 long weekend. The new plan will provide for a massive influx of families, tourists and residents that is anticipated for the holiday period. Malls, beaches and entertainment will remain busy as people make their plans for the break, so it is important for commuters to check the new schedule plans.

Free Public Parking During Eid Holidays

Free public parking will be sent to Dubai motorists as most of the standard car parking zones will be waiving charges during the Eid holidays. The free parking period kicks off Monday, May 25th, 2026 and runs through Friday, May 29th, 2026.

The exemption isn’t for multi-storey parking terminals. For those using covered parking buildings, the usual parking charges will be in effect as well.

Metro will operate every day (except Sundays) from 5:00 AM until 1:00 AM the following morning. Sunday worship will start at 8:00 AM, and end at 1:00 AM.

The longer schedule is likely to help lessen traffic build-up at shopping malls, tourist sites, as well as entertainment areas in connection with Eid Day throughout the city.

Dubai Tram Extended Operating Hours

The Tram runs from Monday to Saturday (6am – 1am next day). These open weeks will start at 9:00am and finish at 1:00am on Sundays.

This is the extended schedule that will primarily be beneficial for the people of Dubai, Dunayshua and of course for tourists visiting the city and enjoying Dubai Marina, JBR and waterfront hot spots throughout Eid.
