Cast, Storyline, and What to Expect

The series is a reprise of the sadistic 2007 killing of a British student, Meredith Kercher, and the consequent trial that the world mourned. Much of the story is based on the case of Amanda Knox (Grace Van Patten) and Raffaele Sollecito (Giuseppe De Domenico), who were wrongly convicted and then acquitted some years later. The show dramatizes Police errors, the contentious job done by prosecutor Giuliano Mignini (Francesco Acquaroli), and the heartbreaking effects it had on Knox, Sollecito, and Patrick Lumumba (Souleymane Seye Ndiaye), who was also mistakenly implicated.

Parallel to the main investigation, the series writes about the personal cost on the one hand, Knox wants to improve family relations, which went badly, gathers the case failures around her, and she seeks the potential to take back life after being disgraced and defamed by the world.
