Saudi Arabia is getting ready to host Riyadh Expo 2030 from October 2030 to March 2031. A Saudi delegation recently took part in a Bureau International des Expositions meeting to analyse the Kingdom’s readiness to host the global event.
In 2023, Saudi Arabia clinched the bid to host the expo. Seeking to usher in an era of change, the event aims to be a unique platform for innovations and modern technologies in order to address some of the pressing challenges facing the planet in different fields.
The Riyadh Expo 2030 delegation attended the 175th general assembly meeting of the BIE, a Paris-based international exhibitions regulator. They updated senior officials of the BIE about the latest Saudi preparations for hosting the event.

The delegation also discussed progress on efforts to accommodate an expected 246 exhibitors, including countries, organisations and companies. Located in the north of Riyadh, the site is approximately 5-10 minutes’ drive from King Khalid International Airport.
