Qatar to Host Major Arab Football Cup Three Times – 2025, 2029 and 2033

FIFA, the big boss of football, said Qatar can host the Arab Cup tournament three more times. FIFA had a meeting in Thailand and said yes to Qatar’s ask.
Qatar hosted the Arab Cup very well in 2021. That is why they get to host again in 2025, 2029, and 2033. The Qatar football team asked to host because the Arab countries need more tournaments like this.
Qatar has great big stadiums for sports events. Their roads and transport are also good for helping fans get to games easily. Qatar hosting the Arab Cup again shows they are an important place for world football.
Qatar Hosted Arab Cup Well in 2021
FIFA approved Qatar because they did a good job hosting the 2021 Arab Cup. The Qatar Football Association wanted to host it again. They said the Arab region needs more tournaments like this one. They also said Qatar has great facilities and infrastructure to host big sports events.
A Top Place for Global Sports Events
Qatar has become a leading place in the world for organizing major sports competitions and tournaments. Most recently, they hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup with 32 teams. In early 2024, they hosted the Asian Cup. From 2025 to 2029, Qatar will also host five Under-17 World Cup tournaments, with 48 teams taking part for the first time ever.

December Dates Set
FIFA decided the next three Arab Cups in Qatar will happen in December 2025, December 2029, and December 2033. Holding the events in December means the temperatures will be cooler.
