Qatar and Malaysia Explore Avenues to Strengthen Bilateral Ties
In a major diplomatic encounter, the Secretary-General of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, met with his Malaysian counterpart His Excellency Amran Mohamed Zin, in Putrajaya on Friday.
The meeting at the high-level was aimed at assessing and strengthening current cooperation between the two countries. Both officials also had serious discussions about common interests and considered possible ways to enhance interrelations between the two sides.
There were also other important officials present during the talks hailing from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and being the Ambassador of Qatar to Malaysia, His Excellency Salah bin Mohammed Al Sorour as well as Al Johara Yousef Fakhro, Acting Director of the Asian Affairs Department within the Qatari Ministry.
The meeting brings to light the diplomatic efforts between Qatar and Malaysia in improving their partnership contact in all areas. This involvement demonstrates each of these nations’ dedication to ensuring open communication contacts on the senior government level.
The visit to Malaysia by the Qatari delegation affords an expression of both countries’ attachment to their diplomatic relations that has been achieving constant advancement within these last few years in economic, cultural, and political benches.
