Cristiano Ronaldo appears keen to make Manchester United star Casemiro part of Saudi football
Numerous top footballers are going to be out of contract soon, and could be signing fresh deals. Portugese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s name has also been floating around as the deal he signed in 2022 at al-Nassr is expiring soon.
Ronaldo is open to continuing in the Saudi club, and has plenty of reasons to stay in the kingdom. But reports suggest that he is also open to transfering to Major League soccer too. He and top competitor Lionel Messi are likely to come face-to-face there.
Media reports are also suggesting that Ronaldo is keen to make Manchester United midfielder Casemiro join his side. If the Saudi club seeks to keep Ronaldo around, the contract is going to be an important factor, in addition to signing the Brazilian star, it seems.
During their time together at Real Madrid, Ronaldo and Casemiro grabbed four Champions League trophies and a couple of La Liga titles, besides others. But Ronaldo and al-Nassr could face stiff competition in signing Casemiro as other Saudi clubs are interested too.
