The official Digger trailer has already captivated audiences, as one of the most unique pairings in the 2026 calendar year is unfolding. The resulting crisis turns into an estimated $18 trillion worldwide catastrophe that could prove to be devastating to international security and political stability.

But, instead of owning up to his mistake, Digger embarks on a more and more frenzied effort to win the world over to his cause, the mere message of which being enough to make him humanity’s savior. His reckless efforts to right the wrongs both to the environment and to his reputation are the backbone of the film’s satirical storyline.

Tom Cruise isn’t the only person in Digger’s ensemble to have a strong group of peers. Riz Ahmed (Oscar winner), who plays Aung Sang Suu Kyi, is joined by U.S. President John Goodman in the movie.
