The UAE has just dispatched a plane transporting 50 tonnes of aid to Zambia as drought continues to negatively impact lives of thousands of people. The country has officially classified the long drought it is suffering from as a national disaster.
The Gulf state also sent another plane carrying 40 tonnes of relief supplies to Guinea Conakry to support those affected by recent flooding. The recent natural disaster in the country has triggered extensive damage and directly affected thousands of families.
