Tom Cruise lands in Abu Dhabi for ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1’ premiere

Tom Cruise, one of the world’s highest-paid and most famous actors, returned to Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Midfield Terminal in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ahead of the ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ film’s Middle East premiere at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, on June 26.

The important parts of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One were shot at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Midfield Terminal, which is one of the most crucial aviation projects to be undertaken in Abu Dhabi.

According to Abu Dhabi Media Office, Tom Cruise, who has received various accolades for his acting, arrived on the first flight into the new Midfield Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is part of a multi-billion dollar expansion program in the UAE.

Tom Cruise, who has received an Honorary Palme d’Or and three Golden Globe Awards for his acting talent, also unveiled a custom Mission: Impossible livery on an Etihad Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

According to reports, Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will promote Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, on Etihad Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner as it flies to various destinations across the world. Etihad Airways, the second-largest airline in the UAE after Emirates, is the official airline of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One action scenes were shot on Midfield Terminal’s 315 meter roof. Midfield Terminal’s iconic structure was highlighted during the shoot. The movie also shot some scenes at an Etihad First Class Lounge and the Liwa Desert.

Elena Sorlini, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports, reportedly said, “We are delighted to welcome Tom Cruise, the cast and crew of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One back to Abu Dhabi.”
