The Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, received a visit from Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, at the Al-Baraka Palace in Seeb.
The Crown Prince conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz, wishing the Sultan good health and prosperity for the people of Oman.
In return, the Sultan conveyed his greetings to King Salman, wishing the people of Saudi Arabia development and prosperity.
During their meeting, the leaders discussed the strong fraternal relations between their countries and expressed their determination to strengthen cooperation in various fields to meet the aspirations of their people.
The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from both sides, including Saudi Minister of the National Guard, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
From Oman, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, Shihab bin Tariq, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Dhi Yazan bin Haitham, and Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said were present.
The visit was described as a private visit to Muscat by the Crown Prince. The Sultan and the Crown Prince discussed the brotherly ties between their countries during their meeting at the Bait Al Baraka Palace.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by Minister of National Guard, Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, Khalid bin Salman, and Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
The Sultanate of Oman and Saudi Arabia affirmed their intention to continue strengthening their bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the goals of both countries.
Saudi Crown Prince Also Visited India
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had also visited India and met with India’s President Droupadi Murmu India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and on September 11.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Saudi Crown Prince held a bilateral meeting, where they discussed various topics including trade, economy, defense, and cultural cooperation.
The meeting took place during the Crown Prince’s state visit to India. The two leaders co-chaired the first leaders’ meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council, which is a bilateral agreement signed by India and Saudi Arabia in 2019.
Prior to the meeting with Prime Minister Modi, the Crown Prince also met with India’s President Draupadi Murmu. They discussed Saudi-India relations and ways to further develop them across all fields.
The Indian President Murmu emphasized the growing strategic partnership between the two nations and their shared commitment to global peace and sustainability.
She also expressed gratitude for the support given to Indian expatriates in Saudi Arabia and praised Saudi Arabia’s role in promoting global stability.

The visit of the Crown Prince and his participation in the G20 Summit have also strengthened the partnership between India and Saudi Arabia even further.
