Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s potential Saudi visit to commence soon
There are reports that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is potentially going to lead a high-level delegation to Saudi Arabia in the near future. The exact dates are yet to be finalized but the visit is expected around the end of this month or the beginning of next.
In recent years, Saudi Arabia has emerged as one of India’s closest allies. Prime Minister HH Mohammed bin Salman has spearheaded significant reforms since assuming his current role, promoting a more social and economic outlook.
The upcoming discussions among Saudi and Indian delegates are likely to focus on energy, stability and economy, building on past engagements. The trade disruption caused by the recent tariff-related decision taken by the US can also be discussed.
