On June 24th, 2024 Qatar Airways was crowned the Best Airline in the World, solidifying its reputation for excellence in the aviation industry. In a grand ceremony at Fairmont Windsor Park, near London Heathrow Airport, the 2024 World Airline Awards were announced. This very prestigious award, often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” is a proof to Qatar Airways unyielding commitment to innovation and service.

Methodology Behind the Awards

Established in 1999, The World Airline Awards are known for their impartiality and independence. The organizing body Skytrax, ensures that all customer survey costs and the awards event are funded exclusively by them, maintaining credibility and transparency. The survey conducted from September 2023 to May 2024, attracted participants from over 100 nationalities, making it the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey all around the world. The awards cover multiple categories, including the overall best airline, Best cabin staff and cleanest airlines, with more than 350 airlines featured in the results.
