Emirates has announced busiest days ahead of Christmas and NYE
The UAE is easily one of the most prominent holiday destinations for people from across the globe. In order to enjoy a stress-free experience, the Emirates airline is recommending its customers to plan carefully this December.
Customer departure numbers throughout this month are much higher than last year. In 2023, more than 75,000 Emirates customers departed Dubai International daily, but in 2024, these numbers are as high as 89,000 on some days.
The busiest days for Emirates customer departures are expected to be December 12-15 and December 20-22 ahead of Christmas, and December 27, 28 and 29 ahead of NYE. These days could see more than 88,000 customer departures.
Busiest days for Emirates: Don’t be late to your gate
In order to enjoy a stress-free experience, Emirates is recommending its customers to reach the airport up to 3 hours before a flight and pay proper attention to their boarding time in order to ensure they reach the departure gate on time.
Customers can make use of a long list of check-in and baggage drop options from Emirates City Check In and Travel Store, to First and Business Class Check-In areas at Dubai International, to home check-in options and remote check-in facilities.
Customers can use the Emirates app for flight details at their fingertips. There are a number of things one can do on the mobile application, including booking and changing flights, getting a digital boarding pass for most destinations, and pre-order hot meals.
