The story of Saud Bin Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, a 70-year-old Saudi man who claims to have not slept for over 30 years, has captured attention on social media once again. Al-Ghamdi recently gave a televised interview, where he discussed his condition and the challenges he faces.

According to Al-Ghamdi, doctors have been unable to find a solution to his sleeplessness. He emphasized that he is not mentally ill or insane but simply does not experience sleep like most people.

This unusual condition has left him seeking answers and relief from his constant sleeplessness.

Al-Ghamdi previously shared his story in 2018, attracting significant attention on social media platforms. His recent statements on a popular TV program brought him back into the spotlight.

During his early years in the military, Al-Ghamdi experienced a period where he went almost twenty days without sleep during a mission. However, the problem persisted and has continued for over three decades.

Despite his sleeplessness, Al-Ghamdi leads a relatively normal life and continues to carry out his daily activities. He has visited numerous hospitals and sought treatment, but nothing has provided a lasting solution to his condition.

Some doctors have attributed it to psychological depression, but treatments for that have also yielded no positive results. Al-Ghamdi even consulted with religious leaders, but no breakthroughs occurred.

The authenticity of Al-Ghamdi’s claim has sparked varied reactions on social media. Some expressed surprise, while others recommended potential remedies or suggested seeking medical treatment abroad. The story has been widely shared and discussed on Saudi social networking sites.

Al-Ghamdi’s case remains a puzzling and intriguing phenomenon, as the inability to sleep for such an extended period defies conventional medical understanding. His search for a cure continues, as he strives to find relief from the discomfort and anxiety caused by his sleeplessness.
