Bahrain Strengthens International Dispute Resolution Framework with ICSID Partnership

Through the partnership with ICSID, the Bahrain Council develops better ways for handling international disputes at its settlement centers in the nation. During this occasion Marike Paulsson and Martina Polasek officially signed the MoU on behalf of the Bahrain Council and ICSID in Bahrain.
The two organizations develop integrated efforts that help them share knowledge and strengthen international mediation support. The joint effort puts Bahrain ahead in international dispute settlement while helping companies manage investments across different countries. Polasek announced during her Bahrain debut that ICSID aims to develop effective methods for resolving business disputes with Bahrain.
During the ceremony, Marike Paulsson highlighted the achievement of this agreement which makes Bahrain possess stronger international dispute resolution capabilities. The ICSID agreement with a World Bank Group institution will strengthen Bahrain’s dispute resolution services and make it a greater international arbitration leader in the Middle East.
Through this partnership, Bahrain shows its intention to help international companies resolve their disputes by offering first-class arbitration services.
