The campaign was launched under the leadership of the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and provides a simple digital forum for participation.
The initiative is rooted in the UAE’s values of unity, coexistence, civic responsibilities and gratitude. The participants can enter a fast online procedure to get their name on the pledge and a customized Certificate of Appreciation within minutes.
What is the UAE National Pledge Initiative?
The initiative aims to remind the public and citizens to reinforce the values of UAE society and the UAE national vision. It advocates for tolerance, respect and involvement in the community and the contribution of each and every person to the continued development of the country.
The approach is digital-first, meaning it is accessible to all regardless of whether they are on a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
Step 1: Visit the Official Pledge Platform
The first step is to log onto the official campaign website at pledge.ae and use your favorite search engine. To log in to the platform, citizens can simply click on a QR code, which will be posted in various media channels, public announcements and the participating organisations.
Upon page loading you will be guided to the initiative’s starting page, which will initiate the registration process.
Step 2: Select Your Preferred Language
The website has options for going into English or Arabic for easier browsing. Once the language of your choice, you will view an overview of the campaign key principles and key objectives.
These encompass vision, commitment, national unity, appreciation of the UAE achievements and aspirations.
Step 3: Fill in Your Personal Information.
Click on the “Sign the Pledge” option to access the registration form. You must include your complete name, email address and cell phone.
