TWMCC Chairman and Chinese Delegation Discuss Matters Of Crucial Interest To Muslim Communities
HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) recently held notable discussions with a Chinese delegation headed by Ilzat Ahmatjan, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Committee.
The meeting at the TWMCC’s headquarters in the UAE capital saw a fruitful exchange on bolstering bilateral cooperation across diverse areas. Both parties engaged in talks on tackling challenges faced by Muslims, including strategies to combat extremism and hate speech.

Empowering Muslims To Play A Positive Role
The two sides also stressed the critical role of promoting respect for the rule of law, active citizenship and social integration, alongside embracing ethnic, cultural and religious diversity. The emphasised that upholding these values paves the way for stronger cooperation.
The meeting discussed the development of economic, academic, scientific and rehabilitation programmes tailored to the specific requirements of Muslim communities across the globe. These initiatives will aim to empower Muslims to play a positive role in their societies.
TWMCC seeks to achieve intellectual and cultural change in Muslim societies in different countries by making Muslims builders of civilisation, advocates of peace and pioneer of tolerance, coexistence and giving.
The World Muslim Communities Council In Focus
The Council’s strategy goals include strengthening coordination between institutions active in Muslim communities in their countries, exchange experiences among them and coordinate with government institutions, international and local organisations to serve their mission.
