All eyes are on Dubai as Asia’s two big names India and Pakistan clash together in the Champions Trophy in Dubai on February 23rd. It became the most anticipated match of the year after India refused to play the match in Pakistan. So how to get tickets to the most sensational game is the one question that hasn’t been addressed yet.
After the Indian government denied permission for their national team to visit Pakistan to play the champions trophy matches so now Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy using a hybrid format where all the India matches will be held in Dubai.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet finalised ticket prices for the Champions Trophy matches in Dubai while the prices for matches in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi have been leaked. All the Pakistan regular tickets start at 1,000 PKR (Dh13.18) with costs rising for important games.
There is no information available for Dubai which is hosting India’s Group A matches and perhaps knockout games as well. However pricing in Dubai is still up for a debate. The restrictions regarding purchasing limits have not yet been confirmed although it is expected that tickets will be sold online. A total of 18,000 tickets will be available for general spectators.
The delay in announcing has left many supporters eager to get their seats and be a part of the historic battle. India and Pakistan have only played each other at International Cricket Council (ICC) competitions.
