The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a Digital Contracting system in full automation for the upcoming Umrah season 1448 AH.For the upcoming Umrah season 1448 AH, Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a fully automated Digital Contracting System.
The move revolutionises the booking and verification process of Umrah packages. Nowadays Travelling Agents cannot continue manually processing pilgrim journeys with the use of paper bookings, spreadsheet bookings or extra-contractual solutions.
Rather, all the approved Umrah packages need to go through the Masar Nusuk website, which will now be used to digitally verify all pilgrims in the world.
New Masar Nusuk Digital Contract System
The new system will ensure that there are no unrecorded travel packages, fake bookings or unauthenticated deals on accommodation, which have been a difficulty for the pilgrims in the past.
Now, with the new Hajj 2026 regulations, all contracts between an overseas travel agent and a licensed Saudi firm will also be renewed digitally using Masar Nusuk.
This comprises booking of accommodation, transport, catering services, etc. related to pilgrimage.If there is no verified digital contract, the visa application might not advance through the system.
Why Manual Umrah Booking Is No Longer Accepted?
Numerous smaller travel agents have been using unofficial tools for years like WhatsApp confirmation, e-mail booking or hand-written confirmations. Saudi authorities are now stopping that altogether.
Since 2026, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah no longer recognizes manual contracts, and official booking records cannot exist. It’s time to pay a small price to the Unverified agent who may lose money or risk rejection of a visa.

30-Day Visa Validity Rule
