Saudi Arabia has expanded its Absher platform by introducing new digital services designed to facilitate the efficiency of citizens and expatriates. These new updates will streamline procedures and improve the quality of service being delivered to the users.

What are New Services on Absher?

The Absher app now provides users with a chance to Upload a photo of their dependents for issuance or renewal of passports and to amend the passport information for foreign nationals and display digital identities for reference to authorities.

Furthermore, Saudi citizens can renew or issue a replacement for their ID cards and rectify the educational qualifications registered with the Ministry of Education. Users can take a personal photo via the app for ID services and register educational documents on Absher.

Launched back in 2010, Absher offers over 350 services to over 25 million users including job applications, renewals for passports, residency cards and driver’s licenses. The platform has greatly expanded in scope since its inception.
