Elon Musk founded the neurotechnology company “Neuralink” along with a team of seven scientists including Max Hodak, Benjamin Rapoport, Dongjin Seo, Paul Merolla, Philip Sabes, Tim Gardner, Tim Hanson, and Vanessa Tolosa in 2016 and it is located in California, US. This company has experts from different fields like neuroscience, biochemistry, and robotics. The primary goal of Neuralink is to develop a Brain-Machine Interface (BMI), which would connect the human brain directly to computers and other digital systems. Musk believes that science is the most powerful tool which can turn an impossible idea/condition to a possible one. Medical conditions like paralysis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and spinal cord injuries break an individual completely down and make them dependent on others to express their needs. Musk ensures that BMI would be a remarkable invention for those people. It helps these people to control their devices with their thoughts. This enhances the cognitive abilities of the human brain with artificial intelligence (AI). It makes the possibility of telepathic communication with others.
