MDLBEAST Soundstorm: Middle East's Largest Music Festival Is Back!

From December 14 – 16, the Saudi capital of Riyadh is hosting MDLBEAST Soundstorm, the largest music festival in the Middle East, again. The event brings together dozens of international DJs and big-name musicians, in addition to memorable local acts.

MDLBEAST Soundstorm kicked off its fourth edition on Thursday. Superstars Travis Scott, Calvin Harris and Metallica delighted the audience. Scott opened the night, performing his mega hits “Fe!n” and “Goosebumps” as fans cheered and sang along.

MDLBEAST Soundstorm Full Of Fun Things To Do

Metallica performed for the first time in the Kingdom. The group sang their fan favourites “Nothing Else Matters”, “The Memory Remains” and “Too Far Gone?”. Harris has previously performed at the event and also hit the Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix stage.

Thursday saw a long list of stars performing, including Oliver Heldens, DJ Snake, Tiesto, Black Eyed Peas and Alesso. The festival is set to run until December 16, hosting performances by Martin Garrix, Chris brown, Wiz Khalifa, Swedish House Mafia and more.

MDLBEAST Soundstorm draws hundreds of thousands of fans of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) for experiences that combine music and interactive performances. The festival is held for three days. The event is also packed with art installations and interactive experiences.

Since its inception in 2019, the festival has hosted big-name international acts and prominent artist and musicians from the region, including Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled, Steve Aoki, Amr Diab, Dish Dash and Cosmicat – Saudi’s first female EDM superstar.
