Manar Abu Dhabi Exhibition To Illuminate The City With Light Artworks

Abu Dhabi is hosting a special exhibition called Manar Abu Dhabi, where the city will be transformed into a beautiful display of light and art.

The exhibition will take place from November 15, 2023, to January 30, 2024. It will feature unique light sculptures, projections, and immersive artworks created by local and international artists.

The event is part of the Public Art Abu Dhabi initiative, which aims to bring art to the public and enhance the cultural experience of the city. The theme of the exhibition is “Grounding Light,” and it celebrates the natural beauty of Abu Dhabi’s coastal areas.

Visitors will be able to see the artworks at various locations throughout the city, including Lulu, Saadiyat, Yas, Jubail, Al Samaliyah, Fahid Islands, Corniche Road, Mina Zayed, and the Eastern Mangroves.

The exhibition will include more than 35 site-specific artworks by artists from around the world.

In addition to the artworks, there will be a public program with talks, workshops, and art performances. They also have plans for a biennial exhibition in 2024.

The entire city of Abu Dhabi will turn into a stunning canvas of light and art. It’s called “Manar,” which means lighthouse in Arabic. They want to celebrate their tradition of lighting up the nights.

Some fantastic artists, both local and international, will create unique light sculptures and artworks all over the city. The theme is “Grounding Light,” and it’s all about showing the natural beauty of the area.
