Cristiano Ronaldo Embraces Saudi Culture

It’s evident Cristiano Ronaldo has wholeheartedly embraced Saudi Arabia’s rich culture. He is the ambassador of Saudi Arabia, and serves as the face of the kingdom for its bid to host the 2030 Fifa World Cup. 

The Portuguese footballer signed a three-year deal with Al Nassr, in December 2022, that pays him $212.2 million per season, and there’s a clause wherein he has to promote Saudi Arabian tourism internationally. However, FC Al Nassr denied that Cristiano Ronaldo will receive any amount for being an ambassador. It clarified that CR7’s contract with Al Nassr does not involve commitments to any World Cup bid. “His main focus is on Al Nassr and working with his teammates to help the club achieve success.” 

In a recent interview, Cristiano Ronaldo shared his enthusiasm for the Arabian FC. “We have very good terms, very good Arab players. I’m happy here, I want to continue here, I will continue here.” 

Al Nassr Seals Victory, Cristiano Ronaldo Scores Twice

At the Saudi Pro League on Friday, Al Nassr sealed victory against Al Ahli 4-3. Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, one in each half and two goals by Anderson Talisca. The Brazilian forward nailed one through a penalty shot and second was a strike off the underside of the crossbar.

Al Ahli proved to be a tough opponent, with Franck Kessie, Riyad Mahrez and Feras Albrikan getting three goals for the Jeddah-based FC.

After losing the first two games of the season, Al Nassr recorded five consecutive wins in the league. The latest victory puts FC Al Nassr 5th in the Saudi Pro League.
