King Charles to Welcome Oman’s Sultan Haitham at Windsor Castle in October

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman is to visit the United Kingdom for a State Visit at Buckingham Palace from October 20 to October 22, 2026, it was confirmed.

This will be held at Windsor Castle, and will mark a significant event within the ongoing diplomatic, defence and economic ties between the two nations.

UK-Oman Trade and Investment in Focus

One of the core priorities will be to further discussions related to the UK GCC Free Trade Agreement. The state visit may help to fuel trade cooperation further as well as offering opportunities in the form of Omani export products and British investment opportunities.
