Indian expat wins Dh1 million in Mahzooz draw in the UAE
An Indian expat named Venkata, who has been working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the past 13 years, has won Dh1 million in Mahzooz’s latest draw.
He works as a porter in the UAE. He lives in the UAE with his wife and four children. His one child also works in the UAE as a delivery boy.
On Saturday, he won the prize. On Sunday morning, Mahzooz told him that he got Dh1 million in his account. The Indian porter could not believe it after hearing the news. He also won an additional Dh250.
The Indian porter participated in Mahzooz 10 months ago. He received the life-changing call on Sunday. He reportedly said, “This is for sure a moment I have never experienced before. This is the first time in my life that I have won such a substantial amount of money.” He is Mahzooz’s 56th millionaire.
According to reports, the Indian expat said that he can pay off his house loan in India with the help of this money. He also said that he can start a business.

Reportedly, other 2,770 participants took home around AED 859,000 in prize money. A Pakistani also got gold coins worth Dh50,000, under 5-week long Golden Summer Draws.
Recently, a Dubai-based Indian man, also won a grand prize of AED 20 million in Mahzooz. Sachin, a 47-year-old CAD technician working at a private company, who lives with his wife and three children, received a winning amount in his Mahzooz account. After winning the prize, he said, “I have been participating in Mahzooz every week, hoping for a big win one day. This victory is a life-changer for my family and me.”
Last week, Indian expat, Aijaz, won the raffle draw prize of INR 2 crore and became the draw’s 52nd millionaire.
