One needs to have clear copies of companies Emirates ID and passport photo in a style appropriate for a passport with white background.
Students are also required to bring in a valid enrolment card or official letter from school/University. An IDP Card (Person of Determination) or Sanad Card is required from People of Determination.
Age verification does not require any extra documents for the senior citizen as they are already verified using government records.
Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for a Blue Nol Card
Step 1: Access the Application Portal
Go to the official website of the RTA or download the RTA nol Pay App. Click on “Apply for a Personal Nol card” to start the process.
Step 2: Select Your Card Category
Select the category you are eligible for. There are four options: Regular, Student, Senior Citizen, People of Determination.
Depending on their traveling habits, they may wish to go from either Regular Class or Gold Class, either category of which is available for purchase.
Step 3: Upload Documents and Personal Information
Ensure your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address are the same as official records.
Upload your Emirates ID, a picture of yourself and any paperwork needed for the eligibility for the category you’ve chosen.
Step 4: Pay Application Fee
A new Blue Nol Card will cost you AED 70. This amount includes AED 50 for personalization and delivery plus AED 20 preloaded as e-purse credit.
Once the payment is made an application reference number will be provided and a confirmation email will be sent.
Delivery and Activation Process
Once submitted, the RTA reviews and verifies all documents. It typically takes 3 to 5 days to process. Once approved, your customized Blue Nol Card is mailed right to your house or office.
