Emirates expects busier periods ahead of Eid al Fitr 2025 holiday
Emirates is expecting busier periods ahead of and during the Eid al Fitr holiday. People in the UAE started celebrating Ramadan on March 1. There is a higher likelihood of the holy month stretching to 30 days, meaning Eid al Fitr could fall on March 31.
This month, the busiest time for departures in Terminal 3 could be on March 28 and 29, just before people start celebrating Eid. Emirates is urging customers departing Dubai to build in extra time for their journeys to keep potential delays at bay.
Because of expected Traffic Congestion around Terminal 3 entrances, passengers are requested to reach the airport up to 3 hours before departure and take note of their boarding times to ensure they reach the departure gate on time.
Customers should clear passport control and security 90 minutes before departure. Is booked in Premium Economy or Economy, passengers should reach their gate no later than 60 minutes before their flight. For First or Business Class, it is 45 minutes before departure.
