At the U.K. premiere for season 3 part 2, showrunner Jess Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter about the show’s development speed. “We’re trying to release the seasons faster, but it takes eight months to film, then they need to be edited and dubbed into various languages,” Brownell said. “Writing also takes a long time, so we’re on about a two-year schedule. We’re trying to speed up, but it’s around that time frame.”
