Bear Grylls, the world’s most recognizable face of survival and wild adventures, is set to open the famous Survival Academy in Saudi Arabia. The survival brand, in collaboration with Red Sea Global (RSG), will make a grand entry in the Kingdom’s Amaala mega- tourism project.
Bear Grylls Survival Academy will add that wilderness edge to Saudi Arabia, with promises of team building, wilderness, education and survival skills on a wide range of course options. The programme and courses will be designed by the world adventurer himself – Bear Grylls.
Who is Bear Grylls
Bear Grylls, is an A-list celebrity, is popular for Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge on National Geographic. He has filmed the wildlife show Man vs. Wild with world leaders like India Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Barack Obama, and Vladimir Putin. This year (2023), Bear Grylls went into the wild with Hollywood actors like Bradley Cooper, Russell Brand, and Rita Ora among others for Running Wild.
The “wild adventurer” said when there’s real tough weather with fun weather, it’s often really compelling TV. Bear Grylls believes the wild is very much unpredictable and stuff is always happening. “You can’t look cool all the time in the wild.” He described “wild” like a grape when you squeeze it, you see what it’s made of.
Red Sea Global Committed to Saudi Arabia
Red Sea Global, which is wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), is committed to upgrading the Saudi Arabia economy and the kingdom as a whole. It reaffirmed its obligation to recruiting and training local outdoor enthusiasts in Saudi Arabia for the art of survival and expedition leadership.
Bear Grylls Survival Academy will create hundreds of jobs in the kingdom. And once fully trained and skilled, these adventure lovers could work and lead courses themselves. This will give rise to a generation of adventure-seekers and survivalists.
