Kartik Aaryan To Be Honored By Victoria Government In Melbourne
Actor Kartik Aaryan will be honored with the Rising Global Superstar of Indian Cinema award at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).
The festival will take place from August 11 to August 20 and will celebrate Indian cinema and culture by showcasing over 100 films in 20 languages.
Kartik Aaryan will receive the award on the opening day of the festival, August 11, at the annual gala night. The award will be presented by the Governor of Victoria, Australia, recognizing Kartik’s remarkable contributions to Indian cinema and his impact on the global stage.
Expressing his gratitude, Kartik said he is deeply honored to receive this prestigious award and believes in the power of storytelling and the ability of films to touch hearts and inspire minds.
The festival director, Mitu Bhowmick Lange, mentioned that Kartik enjoys a great fan base in Australia and his diverse performances in Indian cinema have been admirable. The festival is excited to honor him with this award and is looking forward to hosting him at the event.
In addition to receiving the award, Kartik Aaryan will also participate in a conversation with film critic Rajeev Masand during the festival. Several of his films, including “Satyaprem Ki Katha” and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” will be screened at the festival.

Kartik Aaryan is currently in the UK shooting for his upcoming movie “Chandu Champion” with director Kabir Khan.
