The Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mostafa Kamal Madbouly, visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, commonly known as Medina, a city in western Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Friday

The Egyptian Prime Minister performed prayers on the third day of Eid Al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice. During his visit to Saudi Arabia, Egypt’s Prime Minister also performed the annual Hajj pilgrimage in the holiest city in Islam, Mecca. Also, read more about Nabil Ennasri, the French guy who cycled over 5,000 km to perform Hajj.

Mostafa Madbouly arrived in Medina at the Haramain Express Train station. Various Saudi officials greeted him at the station and welcomed him in the city.

The Egyptian Prime Minister arrived in the country at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Mecca, and Ali bin Mohammed Al-Qarni, the Deputy Mayor of Jeddah, welcomed the Egyptian prime minister to the country.

Major General Sulaiman bin Omar Al-Tuwairib, the Director of Jeddah Governorate Police, and Ahmed Abdullah bin Dhafer, Director of the Royal Protocols in Mecca, also met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.

Last month, Mostafa Madbouly met with Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef visited Egypt along with his delegation. He expressed his happiness on the visit. He reportedly said, “I convey to you the greetings of His Royal Highness, Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Prime Minister, who always emphasizes the strength of the relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.”

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef discussed ways to increase cooperation and integration between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian Prime Minister reportedly said, “We are united by bonds of brotherhood, integration and Arab national security.” He called for the further expansion of Egyptian-Saudi relations.
