The system can automatically approve the same if there is no reply from the employer in 14 days.

With this update, experts still advise to use a physical NOC to eliminate the possibility of disputes and delays in processing in the future.

How to Apply for the UAE Flexible Work Permit?

The UAE Flexible Work permit is very specific in the types of jobs it covers.The UAE Flexible Work Permit is limited to specific jobs.

This action is now completely digitalized and can in some cases be quickly carried out in 48 hours. For that, applicants would need to find a side-job opportunity as the secondary employer makes the request via the MOHRE Smart App or Tas’heel service centers.

Then the employers upload the Applicant’s passport photograph, the Emirates ID, the Applicant’s visa and the NOC documents. The new verification system with AI technology checks the files immediately, helping to minimize waiting periods.

Candidates are then taken next to the payment phase. The Application Fees are AED 100 and the Approval Fees are AED 500. The charges are to be paid for by the employer, and not by the worker, according to the UAE law.
