A series of Dubai’s biggest malls across the Emirates have been slashed open for Dubai’s shopping buffs to shop it out for the pricey Dubai Shopping that has kicked into a bargain-mulching mood with the launch of its annual “Proud of UAE” mega-sale site from today.
The flash sale is organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment and will last from 9th May to 11th May 2026, with up to 75% discounts on fashion, electronics, footwear and home décor.
Limited-time presents already draw thousands of people to enter and compete for a chance to win luxury items, lifestyle products and more at significant discount prices. The three-day campaign is also likely to be the busiest weekend of the sale, as the retailers expect it to be the first weekend, according to them.
The 11 Dubai Malls Participating in the Sale
The “Proud of UAE Sale” promotion isn’t city-wide shopping festivals like The Dubai Shopping Beaches, but instead targets 11 key retail locations across Dubai. The malls participating in the event are Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Festival City Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Mercato Shopping Mall, Circle Mall, The Outlet Village, Nakheel Mall, Dragon Mart and City Centre Me’aisem.
While one mall is offering deals from one brand and another mall might be offering another brand, it’s worth seeing what is being offered before heading out.
Brands Offering the Biggest Discounts
Markdowns from as high as 75% are being made by fashion retailers. The most buzzed-about stores this weekend include brands like H&M,Zara,Mango, and Rivoli EyeZone.
Sportswear and footwear stocks are also on the radar, particularly at Adidas and Foot Locker, with “Buy 1 Get 1” promotions now bringing on top discounting.
Home Centre and Crate & Barrel have clearance deals for outdoor furniture and seasonal fundamentals. Sharaf DG and Jumbo Electronics are also offering electronic retailers with 2025 VA-free vouchers for some laptop and tablet models.
Best Time to Shop and Avoid Crowds
The volume of visitors in the mall is likely to increase significantly during evening periods, particularly at Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif. According to retail analysts, you’ll find the best deals to buy between 10 AM and 1 PM, as stores are less crowded and the products are freshly stocked at this time of the day.
The most congested time is likely to be from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. when parking lots may be filled to capacity. But there’s a “late-night hack” that is practiced by more seasoned shoppers and involves visiting malls around the clock after the 10 p.m. temp. reduces and even more discount specials may be available minutes before they close.
