HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has highlighted his keen interest in facilitating a deeper UAE-Pakistan collaboration in the mining, minerals and agriculture sectors. He said this during a meeting in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday.
The UAE President and Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, recently met as part of a meticulous meeting. Sharif received the Emirati leader at the Rahim Yar Khan airport, accompanied by senior officials.

His Highness expressed admiration for Pakistan’s stabilising economy. During the meeting, both leaders highlighted their mutual commitment to “deepening economic, political and cultural ties.” They also discussed different issues of shared interest.
The President of the UAE and the Prime Minister of Pakistan discussed a broad range of issues, including economic collaboration, regional stability, climate change and the promotion of mutual interests on the global stage.
Shehbaz Sharif lauded the UAE’s leadership and its role as a significant partner for Pakistan. He underscored his country’s readiness to expand cooperation in multiple major sectors such as clean energy, technology, trade and infrastructure.
UAE and Pakistan commit to greater collaboration
During the meeting in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reiterated his commitment to enhancing the long-standing UAE-Pakistan partnership, emphasising the importance of people-to-people connections.
Both leaders also expressed their dedication to peace and progress in the region, promising to collaborate closely on matters of mutual concern. The meeting noted a joint focus on fostering greater co-operation, ensuring a brighter future for peoples in both countries.
