Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presided over a special ceremony at Za’abeel Palace in Dubai. In this ceremony, nine new judges of the Dubai Rental Dispute Settlement Centre were sworn in.
During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid wished the new judges success in their roles. He emphasized the importance of the Dubai Rental Dispute Settlement Centre in ensuring smooth operations, upholding the rule of law, and protecting people’s rights.
The newly appointed judges expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid for trusting them with this responsibility. They promised to uphold the law and ensure that justice is delivered promptly and fairly.
The judges who took the oath include Dr. Omar Tariq Salem Al Suwaidi, Dr. Rashid Mohammed Saeed Al Yamahi, Dr. Abdulrahman Jumaa Mohammed Sharaf, Dr. Yousef Yacoub Yousef Al Mansouri, Dr. Ali Obaid Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Sultan Butti bin Mejren Al Marri, Walid Zaki Abul Hasan Abdul Jalil, Amr Al Sayed Zaki Salem, and Sharif Mohammed Musaad Abdul Jawad.

The ceremony was attended by important dignitaries, including Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who is the President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group.
Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Secretary General of the Dubai Judicial Council, Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of Dubai Land Department, and Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammad, Chairman of the Dubai Rental Dispute Settlement Centre, were also present.
