UAE Launches ‘Verify’ Project to Digitally Verify Academic Credentials
The United Arab Emirates has launched a new digital integration project to verify the academic qualifications of private sector workers, marking a key milestone toward an integrated digital environment. The project is to deliver an integrated verification process for academic qualifications as part of a public sector initiative led by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This project is part of the wider UAE strategy of implementing digital technology to improve government services and processes. The project aims to digitize the verification of academic qualifications so that processing times can be improved, and paperwork and verification by traditional means can be reduced by verifying the authenticity of educational credentials provided by private sector workers.
The integration of education verification through digital processes is a vital component of the UAE’s vision for a more efficient, transparent, and digitally integrated Government. The UAE is committed to improving digital solutions to allow them to offer a greater quality of service to citizens and residents of the country.
The initiative is designed to increase trust in the labor market by ensuring that academic qualifications are verified with accuracy and authenticity, ultimately offering an improved process that assists the economic development and progressive competitiveness of the county.
